Mary arbeitet als Deputy US Marshal. Im Rahmen des US-Zeugenschutzprogramms ist es ihre Aufgabe, wichtige Zeugen der Justiz zu beschützen, ihnen zu neuen Identitäten zu verhelfen und sie vor möglichen Gefahren zu schützen.
