The Accountant
Christian Wolff ist ein Mathematik-Fachmann, der mit Zahlen deutlich besser zurechtkommt als mit Menschen. Unter der Tarnung einer kleinstädtischen Steuerberatung arbeitet er als Buchhalter für einige der gefährlichsten Unterweltorganisationen der Welt. Die Steuerfahndungsabteilung des Finanzministeriums unter Leitung von Ray King kommt ihm auf die Spur – deshalb akzeptiert Christian den Auftrag eines legalen Kunden: einer Firma, die Pionierarbeit im Bereich der Robotik leistet: Dort hat nämlich eine Buchhalterin Unstimmigkeiten in Millionenhöhe entdeckt. Doch während Christian ins Labyrinth der Buchführung einsteigt und der Wahrheit immer näher kommt, steigt die Zahl der Todesfälle in seiner Umgebung.
