Home for the Holidays

Thanksgiving steht vor der Tür und Claudia Larson ist bereits vor der Abfahrt zum alljährlichen Familienfest mit den Nerven am Ende. Körperlich wird sie von einer Grippe gequält, seelisch macht ihr der Verlust des Jobs schwer zu schaffen. Am Ziel angekommen, wird sie von ihrer Mutter sofort wie ein kleines Mädchen behandelt, und auch die anderen Verwandten sind Claudia keine Hilfe. Am festlich gedeckten Tisch sprechen sich die Verwandten schließlich aus, wobei es zu unerwarteten Auseinandersetzungen kommt.
