Ghost in the Machine
Er ist ein eiskalter Serienmörder - ein Irrer, der sich am Arbeitsplatz die Adreßbücher irgendwelcher Kunden klaut und dann systematisch alle darin verzeichneten abschlachtet. Er geht dabei penibel und genau zu Werke, keiner konnte ihm bislang auf die Schliche kommen - da kommt ihm ein Autounfall in die Quere. Schwerverletzt wird er in die nächste Klinik eingeliefert und stirbt mitten in der Untersuchung im Computer-Tomographen. Ein Happy-End für die Gesellschaft - wenn da nicht gleichzeitig ein Gewitter gewesen wäre und hätte den Gehirninhalt des Killers auf mysteriöse Weise in das Computernetz "eingespeist".
